SymQuest's Director of Network Sales, Mark Jennings, is speaking at the Maine Association for Community Service Providers (MACSP) Technology Conference on November 4, 2015 in Auburn, Maine.
MACSP is an association of organizations which provides support and services to children and adults with developmental and other cognitive disabilities. MACSP works with many bureaus, offices, and departments of state government to deliver high quality services to the people of Maine. MACSP has nearly seventy member organizations operating in all sixteen counties of Maine.
Mark Jennings has been working in the Computer Networking industry since 1988. Jennings began his career in IT with SymQuest’s predecessor McAuliffe Office Systems. As a field engineer through the late 1980’s and mid 1990’s Jennings guided both small and large businesses through the process of converting their individual PC’s into networked environments with shared data and collaboration tools. With the advent of the Internet revolution of the mid 90’s Jennings worked with businesses to understand the benefits and risks of connecting to this new resource.
In 1996 Jennings joined the newly formed SymQuest Group, Inc. to help develop and manage the support services SymQuest offers its customers. Jennings worked with businesses to take advantage of the new tech generation, teaching benefits and how to mitigate security risks. In his current role as Senior Sales Director of Network Services, Jennings works with SymQuest’s sales and service teams to educate customers on current best practices around data protection, disaster recovery, security, and overall technology planning. Throughout the years, Jennings has presented on such topics to professional organizations in the finance and banking, insurance, manufacturing, and medical industries among others.
