Goals and Responsibilities

  • Provide expected delivery time information to the Sales Team and Technical Set-Up Team
  • Maintain working knowledge of current vendor purchasing programs
  • Track and pursue all available purchasing credits
  • Place all orders via the Internet, fax and telephone
  • Produce purchase orders
  • Reconcile purchase orders to shipping documents and invoices
  • Produce summary reports for management
  • Weekly cycle counts

Essential Skills

  • Purchasing tracking
  • Invoice to PO reconciliation
  • Credit tracking
  • Order placement
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma and experience in a business environment
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability at meeting budget numbers
