Networking Account Executive

Job Location: Vermont & Maine

We need a motivated “hunter” who loves creating new clients, with a background in B2B/technology sales.

Goals and Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients
  • Create net-new client relationships that will include SafetyNet Managed Services
  • Achieve “minimum” sales and margin goals as determined by the Director of Business Development
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge about key hardware and software
  • Marketing our products and services within a specific territory with assistance from the marketing coordinator
  • Assist other SymQuest business units in growing their business via cross-selling

Essential Requirements

  • Continuous prospecting: maintain a consistent call activity within named account base and/or territory
  • Communicating via email, phone, and in person with prospective clients
  • Keeping account information and sales data current in CRM system
  • Assessing client needs (with and without engineer input) prior to determining appropriate solutions
  • Composing proposals and related client-facing sales documents
  • Presenting SymQuest solutions and explaining the value proposition
  • Processing required paperwork (Letters of Intent, SafetyNet contracts, Statements of Work, Product Orders)
  • Obtaining signatures on legal documents (NSA, Credit App, Lease docs, etc.)
  • Travel by car

Educational Requirements

  • High School Graduate; College preferred
  • Minimum one year experience in industry preferred
  • Orientation to new technologies

Technical Requirements

  • All SafetyNet Managed Services including Software-as-a-Service partners
  • HP – full product line
  • Dell servers, EqualLogic storage, and Kace appliances
  • VMware virtualization solutions
  • Cisco networking
  • And other products found on the Solution Matrix
